Choose a beginner trap


The High Tension Spring has higher power and power bonus, Hot Tub Trap has higher "attraction bonus", which is not that useful. SO CHOOSE High Tension Spring!

If you chose the other one, don't panic it really doesn't matter at this early stage of the game, you will find youself buying a new trap in the next few minutes anyway.

FIRST OF ALL, check out the annoucement above the AREA BANNER, click the one that talk about the awesome Fan Base. Yes! It's free, all you have to do is become the Mousehunt Facebook page fan.

Get this base will save you from buying any other base in this area!

  • The game mechanics in this area is Bounty Hunt!

  • Click on the Reveal Mouse
  • It will then show you a mouse that is on the bounty list

  • Follow the two tips on what cheese this mouse likes or loves
  • Loves will attract this mouse more than Likes
  • Just choose the cheese wisely!
  • Catch the bounty mouse and click Claim Reward to get the bounty, then just Reveal the next mouse and repeats this bounty hunting game untill all bounty mice are caught!.
  • Navigate to Shops -> Trapsmith and buy the Wooden Base with Target.
  • Continue hunting and save up 15,850 gold to buy Mouse Trebuchet
    • Alternatively if you are willing to spend real money ($1), you can buy the Shrink Ray Trap instead.
  • Keep hunting in this area until you reach Apprentice rank, then travel to Windmill.

3. Windmill#

🏆 Strategies

  • Every successful mouse catch will increase the windmill meter
  • Higher the windmill meter more Packet of Flour you get from mouse drops
  • Keep hunting untill you get at least 12 Packet of Flour to buy 1 Grilled Cheese
  • Arm your Grilled Cheese hopefully you will catch the Captain Croissant (Larry called him a BREAD MOUSE)
  • If you miss don't give up, arm back your Marble or Swiss cheese and collect Packet of Flour again to buy the Grilled Cheese, then try again!
    • No need to rush in this area, you will need to level a rank to go to the next area anyway.
  • If you successfully count it, you will see the following message:

8:56 pm - Windmill

Having caught the Captain Croissant Mouse, the gears, cogs, and sails of the Windmill are finally clear of all the mice clogging them up.

The Windmill is now operating at full capacity!

I can return to the Windmill whenever I need to fill up on some Grilled Cheese!

  • Keep hunting until you get promoted to Initiate rank
  • After being promoted move straight to the Harbour
